E.S. New Service Announcement :Attendance by Fingerprint
|
As of this Academic Year 2009/2010, the E.S. has decided to digitize the attendance process. To that effect, the E.S. has bought new fingerprints’ electronic machines. Such machines shall record the students’ fingerprints prior to and after each lecture to ensure that accurate and complete records of attendance are maintained.
According to the By-laws and governing Regulations of the English Section, attendance percentage should not be less than 75% of all lectures in each subject/course. The new machine will provide concrete evidence with respect to attendance percentage and will accordingly prevent any fraud or inaccuracy.
